In love with my sadness...

Just sharing my embrace, y'all. Soon to be relaunched.

Beginning the end with “magnum opus” guitar improvisation, before counterbalancing
this commotion with a contrasting Part II of the more joyous moments from August 2010;
I present to you my second release of previously unavailable (now mixed) recordings.

“the show must go on” event - 50 Likes until Release III: on.fb.me/UXzJg1
“conspiracy of silence” post - read all about my plight to reach the 30 Likes milestone
in this autonomous, brooding and arduous three-part blog series: bit.ly/OCQ9xC
“woe is me” playlist - 30 stars for 30 Likes: bit.ly/TFJnFo

The nitty-gritty of it: Know what’s funny? This whole missing the very first milestone (30 Likes by November 1st for a public release: on.fb.me/WTifqR) is the VERY reason I tend to record only improvisations using a Dictaphone. Had my tracks been produced squeaky clean with a mixer, any extra “likes” wouldn’t be justified—for what I’ve ALREADY achieved. That’s just the way it’s been (for several years now); some of the best moments I ever recorded might never be repeated (carpe diem)! So when I share unprofessionally recorded improvisations, it’s not a mistake, it’s a choice. Thank you for understanding.

— 07/10/11 (58) ‘Mark My Word’

I couldn’t care less,
I don’t need anymore reasons,
To make me doubt myself
For all the pain I’ve felt,
You can mark my word, and all the rest
I write them for a reason, it’s not just some test!
+
Give me a cause - to make me doubt myself once more,
50/50 - that’s my uncertainty — never quite convinced
For all I bleed and exceed - never truly free…
+

— 28/07/10 (27)

It’s never easy for me to try and explain,
What I want to be,
What it is I need
To nurse the bleed
that has been dragging me down

All these demoralising years…
Expect a life to be so sane indeed!

Seven days. Seven artists. Fourteen singles. One eclectic playlist. Without these artists/songs in my library - I’d still be an aspiring musician/composer - but my weighty “Raw & Mixed” series on SoundCloud wouldn’t have happened, for one (whether that was recorded professionally or amateurishly, it doesn’t matter). To see the music videos + personal annotations, visit my Fb music page: http://on.fb.me/TTCdvF Show your support & Like for more. I’m doing this to promote the launch of my first demo EP ‘Leavin’ Harbour… Two Years to the Month’ throughout September.

It’s not ‘til you pick up on an old hobby that you realise how much fun it is! Playing plugged in after almost a year!

"Anyone has the potential to be an artist; it could be in the way you present/express yourself or how you produce something for others to revel in. We’re all artists; it’s how you choose to stylise your embrace that makes the difference."
